Villa Unity is a five-bedroom private estate in Bophut Hills, Koh Samui, built for multigenerational family holidays and friend groups of up to ten — five ensuite suites, a 15-metre infinity pool with a shallow ledge and jacuzzi, a cinema, games room and kids’ playroom, a sunken garden trampoline, private chef service, and an ethical elephant sanctuary a 150-metre walk from the gate.
Someone wakes early — it’s usually a child — and by seven you’re all walking the lane, coffee in hand, to watch the elephants take their breakfast before you take yours. Back at the villa the long table is laid for ten, and the papaya was picked thirty metres from your chair. The afternoon belongs to the pool: the shallow ledge for the smallest, the jacuzzi for the grandparents, the horizon edge for everyone showing off. The evening belongs to the cinema, or the pool table, or nothing at all. Somewhere around day three you’ll notice what isn’t happening: nobody has asked about the Wi-Fi since Tuesday.
The architecture does the quiet work of keeping ten people happy. Five levels create natural separation — teenagers disappear downward to the games room, grandparents settle into the Garden Suite with its own front door and no stairs to manage, and parents finally read a book on a terrace nobody else has found yet. Different generations, different rhythms, one table at dinner.

Five en-suite bedrooms — four on the private suite level and an independent ground-floor garden suite — provide privacy and separation. The 15m infinity pool is the heart of daytime activity, while the ground-floor cinema doubles as a rainy-day hub. A kids study and playroom plus a sunken trampoline keep younger ones busy. Cots and high chairs are available on request, a pool fence can be installed, and the secure grounds mean children explore freely while you relax.

Yes — deliberately so. The Garden Suite has its own entrance at garden level with no stairs, cots and high chairs are arranged in advance, and the grounds are secure. The pool has a shallow ledge and integrated jacuzzi; it is unfenced by default and unsupervised, so constant adult supervision is essential — pool floats and a life ring are provided, and a pool fence can be discussed ahead of your stay.
That’s exactly how it’s designed. Five ensuite double suites sleep up to ten, dining seats ten, and the five levels give every family — or every couple in a friend group — its own territory. The estate is only ever booked by one group at a time.
Yes. Milestone stays are some of our favourites to host: private-chef dinners for the full table, sunset toasts on the rooftop deck, speeches and old photographs in the cinema. Tell us the occasion when you enquire and we’ll help you plan it.
The Samui Elephant Haven is a 150-metre walk from the gate — an ethical sanctuary with no riding and no performances. Children watch the herd forage and bathe, and the café serves breakfast and lunch in direct view of the elephants. Sessions are booked directly with the sanctuary; fees apply and support the care of rescued elephants.
